Fediverse Projekte sind die verschiedenen Software Teile vom Fediverse. Viele davon ahmen bekanntere Soziale Medien nach.

Was ist Mastodon?

Mastodon ist ein Mikroblogging Dienst, ähnlich wie Twitter.
Mikroblogging heißt, dass du einen Blog mit kurzen (mikro) Beiträgen hast. Bei Mastodon ist das Charakter-Limit meist bei 500 Zeichen.

Es gibt auch Mastodon Forks wie z.B. Ecko & koyu.space.

Was ist Pleroma?

Pleroma ist ein weiterer mikroblogging Dienst wie Twitter und Mastodon.
Im Gegensatz zu Mastodon hat es meist 5000 statt 500 Zeichenbegrenzung und einige weitere Unterschiede.

Misskey ist ein weiterer mikroblogging Dienst wie Twitter, Mastodon und Pleroma.
Es hat ein anderes Design und unterschiedliche Limits als Mastodon und Pleroma.

Es gibt auch Misskey Forks wie z.B. Calckey.

Pixelfed ist ein Photoblogging Dienst wie Instagram.
Es sind nur Bilder-Posts möglich, aber natürlich kann Text dazugeschrieben werden.

Was ist PeerTube?

PeerTube ist ein Videoblogging Dienst wie YouTube oder Vimeo.
Darüber hinaus kann PeerTube auch Live-streamen, wie die zum US-Technikkonzern Amazon gehörende Videostreamingplattform Twitch.
Du kannst Videos und/oder Livestreams mit dem ganzen Fediverse teilen.

Hubzilla ist ein Betriebssystem das auf einen modularen Webserver basiert und Technologien fürs Veröffentlichen, Social Media, Datenteilen, Foto teilen, Chat und mehr enthält. Es gibt auch die Möglichkeit eigene Module zu entwickeln.

Friendica ist ein Soziales Netzwerk wie Facebook.
Teile Texte, Bilder & Videos nur mit deinen Freund*innen, der Familie oder mit dem gesamten Fediverse.

Du kannst Links, Bilder und Texte posten und andere Nutzer*innen können darauf kommentieren und abstimmen.
