We're not saying that that is what the Fediverse IS. The sentence also contains the words "kinda" and "except". | |||
If you feel like there is something missing in the "except"-clause we can add that. | |||
Maybe: except the parts are less well known, less toxic, free software & federated replacements to those. | |||
I chose the word "replacement" instead of "alternative" because alternative sounds like both are equally okay to use. Replacement implies, that the Fediverse version is better. | |||
