Message definition (Moving instances)
# Choose your destination server; {{Internal link|target=How do I get an account?#How to choose an instance|link-name=How to choose an instance}} may help.
# Create the new account you want to move to if you didn't already. It doesn't have to be a new account.
# Log in to the account you want to move TO and go to Settings > Account > Moving from a different account.
# There enter the handle (@profilename@instance.whatever) of the account you want to move FROM.
# Now login with the account you want to move FROM and go to Settings > Account > Move to a different account.
# There enter the handle and password of the account you want to move TO and hit “Move Followers”.
# Also go to import/export and export your follows as a file, if you want to move them too.
# Go to the account you moved TO again and import the file with your follows.
# Wait for the follows and followers to be moved and you're done.
  1. Choisissez un serveur de destination ; Comment choisir son instance peut être utile ;
  2. Créer le compte sur lequel déménager si cela n’est pas déjà fait. Cela n’est pas forcément un nouveau compte ;
  3. Connectez-vous sur l’instance de destination et allez dans les Paramètres > Comptes > Déménager depuis un compte différent ;
  4. Entrez l’identifiant (@profilename@instance.whatever) du compte que vous souhaitez quitter ;
  5. Connectez-vous sur le compte que vous souhaitez quitter, allez dans les Paramètres > Comptes > Déménager vers un compte différent ;
  6. Entrez l’identifiant et le mot de passe du compte de destination et cliquer sur « Déplacer les contacts » ;
  7. Ensuite allez sur importer/exporter et exportez vos abonnements dans un fichier si vous voulez les migrer aussi.
  8. Retournez sur le nouveau compte et importez le fichier avec vos abonnements.
  9. Attendez que vos abonnements et contacts soient transférés et c’est fini.
