Creating a template for apps

I suggest we create a template for app that describe its functionalities, licence and link it to the app store.

About User:Mossy's edits

I would suggest bringing back the longer App descriptions and not write them in italics, but write the License small.

I edited the post to show what I mean. We can still rollback the edit.
Even though I want the app descriptions to be longer in general I removed some parts, that didn't describe the app.

Reworking the app page

I suggest we change the page so each app are under the feliverse software. But i'm worried it will break the table with its section link...

The problem with that is, that some apps serve more than one software. But don't you think the table is enough to navigate, which app belongs to which server-software?

Yes the table is enough but on mobile, the navigation isn't easy.I use title collapsing to navigate in the wiki.

The mobile version on the wiki also lacks a menu (afaik the timeless provide a menu). And that's partly why i stopped using mediawiki.

If some app serve several software we can copy-pasta its template.

No, your right, with templates that should work well. You mean real templates (in the Template namespace) right?

Maybe we should then move the table to the bottom as it then only serves to display, which other apps are there too, that we didn't make a template for yet, and no longer for navigation.

I completly forgot how to do a template and what is a namespace.

let's say as this wiki page where i setup bolean, timewizard...

we can also create 1 page for each app and tranclude them.

here is what i have in mind. Something like this with a flexbox :

I reverted the page back to the original until we have a working template

I also created a version of the tamplate at https://joinfediverse.wiki/Template:App/1

Let's take the best of both versions and see what we come up with together.

We should use the #if or #ifexist expressions to only display what is actually there (like e.g. the UI picture).
