Hallo und Willkommen im Fediverse!
Wie? Du bist noch nicht Teil vom Fediverse? Dann starte doch gleich mal mit Punkt 1.

1. Finde eine Instanz, lege einen Account an

Der schnellste Weg Teil des Fediverse' zu werden, ist, eine Mastodon Instanz auf joinmastodon.org zu finden.

• Willst du erst mehr über das Fediverse erfahren schau dir Was ist das Fediverse? an.
• Willst du nicht unbedingt Mastodon, sondern einem anderen Teil des Fediverse beitreten, dann lies Was sind Fediverse projekte?
• Willst du aus einer größeren Auswahl an Instanzen wählen, dann schau zu Wie komme ich an einen Account?

2. Editiere dein Profil

Lade ein Profilbild hoch, schreibe eine Profilbeschreibung und ändere ein Paar Einstellungen nach deinem Belieben.

3. Schreib einen Vorstellungs-Post

Write your first post. Mention the hashtag #introduction and your interests and hobbies.
The Fediverse has a great Welcome culture, so your post will probably be boosted, liked and commented on quite a bit.

4. Follow interesting people

Go to your local or federate timeline and scroll through the post to find like-minded and interesting people. Follow them to fill your home timeline.
On the home timeline you'll see boosted posts originating from people you don't follow yet. Follow them if they post things you like.
