Purpose and method
What is the purpose of this apparent extra work? (Encourage me to make the effort!)
How do I use it? (Very simple English, please.)
Will it one day have answers to those questions on a documentation page as on Wikipedia? (And I hope all templates will too - unless there is a better way.)
