This article is a draft!
A lot of info might still be missing and the page might change at any time.

This page is supposed to be a place for swapping instances or finding people/groups/organizations to host an instance for you.
This should not be confused with moving instances, which is the act of moving from one instance to another as a user.
Also professional hosters should not be listed here. They can be found here instead.

Instances looking for new hosters

Anyone can list their instance here. Please include all relevant information, like your contact info, what software the instance runs (including modifications?), what infrastructure it runs on, how big your instance and server are, how much it usually costs you, how much your users usually donate, if they do, how soon you want someone to take over the instance and anything else that might be interesting.

People, groups & organizations looking for someone to host an instance for them

Again, anyone can add an instance they want hosted here, but please include all the relevant information, like your contact info, what your plans and visions for the instance are, how you think it will be financed, whether you already have a community who might be interested in joining, or whether it should be a single-user instance just for you, what software you want the instance to run on of course, whether you already have a domain, and so on...

People, groups & organizations looking for guidance on self-hosting an instance

If you want to host an instance yourself, but need some help with that, you can list yourself here with your contact info and all relevant info, which will probably be similar to the ones listed above plus what exactly you need help with (if you already know).

People, groups & organizations offering to take over instances

Here you can list yourself or your group if you are willing to take over instances, host instances for others or help others with setting up or running their own instances. Also here please include all the relevant info, like what you offer, what you have experience with, how your service should be financed and all the technical information if you already have an instance.
