Fediverse projects are the different software parts of the Fediverse. Many of them are replacements for better-known social media platforms.

O Mastodon é uma plataforma de mibroblogue, ou microdiário, tal como Twitter®, aonde publica-se pequenos textos sobre o cotidiano ou sobre uma temática específica.
Estas entradas geralmente estão restritas a um limite de 500 caracteres, por isto o "micro". O limite, porém varia de instância para instância, ficando ao critério do criador desta liberar até 65535 (2^16-1) caracteres.

Contrary to Mastodon though it usually has a character limit of 5000 as well as some other differences.

It has a different design and different limits than Mastodon and Pleroma.
